I've done the clown theme but, through in a mad clown scientist and clown electric chair. We did scarecrows and skeletons as a theme. Also my spider theme was pretty large and I keep added them every year. Next year I'm really hoping to do my Hansel and Gretal Witch's Hut with a yellow brick road up to the house. To the hut with be candy decorations but, after you leave there you go into the yellow brick road with Dorothy under the house. "Payback's a Witch!"

I've already been thinking, too. I'm thinking a harvest of skulls masquerade or gothic haunted mansion. Not sure. Have to really start thinking now.

We're looking at a New Orleans voodoo/zombie theme for next year. It'll give me a chance to still repurpose the groundbreakers, but work on some ornate above-ground crypts...

We are doing a dead celeberties theme for the 2012 party. So far I think I may make my entrance look like the entrance to the Viper Room. But still plenty of time to plan.

We are putting together ideas that involve three witches standing on a built up stage that will look like a raised rock outcropping in the middle of the yard. They will be working on a spell that is pulling pumpkin headed skeleton zombies out of the ground. Many of them will be breaking out of the lawn in various stages, some of them reaching up toward the witches, with four or five fully out of the ground, walking or crawling and reaching out over our short hedge to the street, or over our sidewalk railing that leads to our front door.

    All paper mache...

La Llorona is the theme of my haunt, expanding onto the sideyard. We are really growing.
