Here are some pictures for those of you not in the northeast! This is a first! This was our 6th Halloween bash, and despite the nor'easter, 30 mile an hour wind, heavy snow and losing power at 10PM...I have to say it was one of best parties ever! When the power went out we had 60 guests here, within 20 minutes we had the generator running, a propane heater in the garage, music from the playlist and candlelit everywhere...people stayed till 2am! I have to be honest in saying I was abit discouraged in the afternoon when people started calling to cancel, and then we just reminded ourselves" it's just a party!" Here are a few pics...

Im in So NH and we got 19" of that crappy wet snow. Oak tree limbs came down in my cemetery and split one of my fence sections in half. Fortunately it took the brunt of the hit and save one of new Grandin Road tombstones from getting crushed.
In all these years this was the first time I've lost decor to the snow.

Our towns trick or treats have been postponed until this coming Sunday so it looks like everything that wasnt damaged will stay up another week.

It just doesnt feel right, it just doesnt feel like Halloween.

You are right...it doesn't feel like halloween...Trick or Treat was postponed here also in Manchester, but the party went on, and was a blast! I don't get any trick or treaters (sadddd)...so most of my stuff is put away! Bummer!

We average about 120 - 130 ToT'ers each year and now that it is going to be Sunday Im pretty certain there will be alot of kids. I feel as though I have to keep the decor out but I really wish i was putting it away now.

Or at least trying to find a place to store all this stuff (went and bought some more today at 1/2 off)

It's like the "Year Without A Halloween". I only recall one other year without ToT. Remember the Tylenol poisonings in 1982?
