I went to Spirit today and managed to buy 2 of their display items, the "wooden" posts with lanterns hanging from them. I really wanted their zombie display! It was the 3 cubbies (where their display zombies were standing) with a working fan, 2 toxic waste barrels, all the pipes and 2 sections that had manhole covers for the rising zombies to come out of. So freakin awesome and it was probably about 20 feet long and 8 feet high altogether. He only wanted $400!!!!!!! I'm sooooo mad I can't get it!
Oh, and I want to rant about Target. I wanted a few of their display cutouts, but they said no. They will be thrown away. "What?!" I asked. "Can't I buy them from you?" "NO" they said again. So I just want to say......Target, you SUCK!!I would dumpster dive, but I hear it's illegal and with my luck, I would get caught!

I hinted at the two Targets I went to, one was gone already, others still up. I wasn't too forceful though. Thought the cutouts would look good in windows.

That blows. I'd love to 'dumpster dive', too, for the display cannisters that they had this year (clear with black Victorian scrollwork to them). I'm not in the greatest of moods right now, so if I got caught, I'd likely fight the people off

Oh I wish you could be my backup!! I was looking at the cannisters and the cardboard table they had their tombstones on. Hell, I would've even taken the cute owl on a branch cut outs!

Most of the Targets don't have dumpsters per se, they have compactors - so diving is reaaallll tricky and more than a little dangerous. Sucks.

Your telling me about more money. I've got a set of $400-$500 dollar wheels supposedly coming for my truck. (Ordered a week before July 1st and still waiting on them.) and I have less than $200 in my bank. Ugh... I need work terribly.
