This halloween was GREAT. I had 100+ tots and made them go in 3 at a time. My garage was covered in tarps, and you couldn't see a thing until the pneumatics starting popping out. How was your halloween?

I was just happy to have it. The storm, no power (got it back late last night) made the night very much in doubt.
Upside, I loved my yard. It was so much better than last year (still needs work, but I set it all up today). The neighborhood also had more people decorating and a guy two blocks down built a haunt in two large party tents.
The downside: Less people in the neighborhood giving out candy this year. I'm hoping it was the storm. We were down in ToT's this year. Had in the mid 300's.Making the world a funnier place, one blucky at a time

The weather was nice, for a change. The turnout, not so much; I ended up talking with a couple of the neighbors more than anything else. I had fun decorating, anyhow

I hope that others don't have as many 'Halloween scrooges' as we've got here
There were fewer lights on this year than last, which is saying something

It was absolutely awesome!!! Hard to say exactly, but somewhere in the 200+ ToT's range. Freaking sick! 25 lbs of candy...gone! Top it off with likely winning the HOA award for best yard display...I'm feeling pretty warm and fuzzy right about now!
I busted my butt this last week, but didn't get all of my projects finished/repaired in time for the big day. I had to do a fair bit of repairs over the past few days due to wind damage, and that really slowed down progress in finishing projects. My floating lantern, FCG, Eyes in the bushes, and my new witch didn't make it to the party. Lost the motors on my cauldron creep, and my Wallbreaker ghost. Plus an MP3 player down to boot. But, none of that mattered. People were highly positive in their feedback, and it came off beautifully. The smoking Hell Hole really garnered a lot of attention, as did the cauldron creep even with a dead stirring motor. Considering, I couldn't be more pleased atm!
Not bad for a 2 person show

Pretty good!
Nice weather - around 60 degrees - clear and no wind.
We hit 69 TOTs, had a basic setup due to just being too darn tired but enough to not be embarrassed
, and it was our 9th wedding anniversary... all in all, a good night.

The weather was great here and I was happy with how many TOT's I had. I think about 25-30 kids which is good for our neighborhood

Another quiet one, but I always enjoy it. Watched "High Tension" and "The Shining." I hype myself quite a bit for the holiday and almost go into burnout.

Fantastic!
My son was home today and he and I spent the day tinkering with the display, carving pumpkins, and making our party food. Weather was beautiful. Had 500 treat bags prepared and went through all those and the back-up candy as well. Our best count was 550 trick or treaters! Everything worked just as it should, got tons of comments on the yard and many, many people taking pictures, even though my display was smaller this year. All in all, a huge success!Dear Sweet Leota, Beloved By All. In Regions Beyond Now But Having a Ball...
