Television and radio commercials, an appearance on Jay Leno, partner up with McDonalds or Burger King for the month of October and put little toys related to your haunt in every Happy Meal, hire an airplane to pull one of those banners around your town every evening at sunset, rent a burrow and ride through the Grand Canyon trails handing out fliers, sponsor a NASCAR ride, throw the first pitch of the season for the New York Yankees wearing a Red Sox uniform and a hat with your haunted houses logo on it..........

    OR

Do it for free and be the "cool guy" in your neighborhood.

Many yrs. ago I sent a letter to the Chicago Tribune just before the Haunted House listings were to be published.
They mentioned some of the things I had put in the letter and then sort said I might be fibbing. The paper came out early that Friday Morning. I scared the first caller into a quick explitive and a hang-up by just saying "Ravens Grin Inn".
Then the phone rang non-stop for the next 2 1/2 days! My answering machine finally retired.
Even though I am 120 miles from Chicago a huge number made the drive, stood in line to see my house.
I made the conscious decision yrs. before to Not go public like this Until I had something impressive to show them, no lie, "Seven Physical levels-optional guaranteed scare package."
Still here open every night of the year, 25 years later.
    (Maybe I'm doing something "Right?")
