We had our party last night and it turned out great! I think we had our best turn out-about 40-45 people and we had some really great costumes as well. Our $100.00 Best Costume prize went to a guy who came in a hooded, disfigured mask, cloak, and machete. Didn't seem like a special costume except that he stayed in character the ENTIRE night (I didn't even know who he was) and went throughout my house scaring everyone else. My judges thought he deserved it.
The pics I am including were just shot with my simple little Cybershot. I had an actual photographer working for the party and he spent the better portion of 6 hours taking pics so I will post them this week, but I hope these will give you an idea of how it went.

See that would have creeped me out, having someone I'm not sure who it is dressed up and staying in character. That sounds like the beginning of one of those Halloween movies that ends with finding half your guests massacred in a back bedroom. LOL
When Hallows Eve draws close once more
And terror rides the wind
The Ravenfells shall waken
And stalk their lands again.
