We wanted to have an explosion of bats fill our kitchen wall this year so we decided on a swarm of bats flying from a haunted house on a hill that would enlarge and give depth to the effect of bats from a distance as well as up close. We used the CNC plasma cutter to cut the scene from a thin sheet of aluminum and then painted all the pieces black, formed them by hand and sticky taped or nailed them all over the wall and ceiling. It looks SO cool! Our party isn't until Nov. 5th, so we are in the depths of decorating right now. Just wanted to share how it looks so far. Name: batattack.jpg

I like! Everything is nicely positioned and it creates a really eerie mood. That was some number of bats there to place. Do you have a bat count?

Thanks everyone. Not counting the cloud coming from the house and the hanging bats on the tree, there was roughly 60 individual bats.
