This is a horse drawn hearse that was used in a funeral for one of our fallen officers this past week. I am sure most of you dont follow the Crime Scene Quotes thread so I wanted to post some of the pictures of it here so some of you might be able to draw some Halloween inspiration from it. And if any of you find this innapropriate, dont worry the officer would have been all for it.
Yes, even at a funeral for a fallen friend and fellow officer I was thinking about HF when I saw this.
And if any of you want the story of this without going searching through the thread it starts here

Got a little info on the hearse
The hearse that we used was built in the early 1800's. It is all original from the wheels to the slides inside the compartment (only the leather canopy on top has been changed) and is owned by Kevin Beggs of Beggs Funeral Home in Lincolnton GA. The hearse was barn kept for 50 years and JD's funeral was only the 2nd time that hearse has been used since it was taken from storage. We were very honored to have the opportunity to use it.We dont need a body bag, we need a bucket.............and a strainer.
