The tiredness, aches and pains, fatigue..you know...all the fun that comes with setting up your haunt. Late nights and being in and out of the cold, damp weather, not eating on schedule, hands stained with paint and liquid nails, blisters and splinters..I thought this was supposed to be fun. Every year it hits a little earlier and I know that after Halloween I'm shot for several days.
Keep saying to myself, it's all worth it! It always is!

I know this Halloween will be worth it. But I'm right there with you. My body is broke down from this past week and there is still so much more to do. I'm probably gonna have to rest through Nov. just to have the energy to cook Thanksgiving.

I know the feeling! I am just now back from another night walk through my graveyard and putting the finishing touches for tomorrows gathering. It was another 13hr day setting up and I am ready to get the show on the road. I know everyone will enjoy it You said it best... late nights, aches and pains, tattered hands, and crazy schedule.

Wow! You folks must be putting way more into your display than me! All I have are a few holes in my hands from chicken wire. Maybe I'm doing it wrong...
