    Default Moon Phase this year – 10-28-2011,04:05 PM


    Since I joined this forum 7 years ago, each Halloween I have made a point of noting the phase of the Moon on the Big Night. Well this year. fugedabaddit! This year Luna rises really, really late, and will only be a thin sliver when she does appear. Too bad, 'cause an awesome moon hanging in the sky is like a crowning touch to a well dressed Graveyard Scene!

    The full moon was just out a few weeks ago so I knew when I saw it no full moon for Halloween. I need to check my Star program for my itouch more often. I always forget, but it tells me when the full moon and new moon is and when it rises. Full moon on Halloween is so cool especially when there are scattered clouds out too and it goes in and out.
