Did some garage sale hunting for halloween since in on a strict budget (No budget). I am always amazed how when people selling thier stuff get so upset when i tell them what im going to with it. lady was selling a old chest she said it was in the family a long time and when i told her i was going to modify it make a creature come out of it for halloween it was quickly not for sale. same with some old suits this man said he was so proud of his old musty suits when i told him i didnt care what size they when when he was checking the size. I told him im just going to cut them up and scrub them in the mud to make zombies with, he gave me a look like he was sick.

I never reveal to the seller what I plan on doing with the stuff. If the item is so precious to them, then they wouldn't sell it.

Jollygoriila I always keep quite with my intentions as well at least until its paid for and in the car HAHAHA. You should check out of yard sale thrift store thread alot of people hunt sales and strict budgets work best finding stuff at them. Its amazing what you can find in fact nearly my entire display is yard sale or homemade items.

I have a list shiatsu fans clothes i keep forgetting shoes for my creatures out of the ground.
