So my husband and I left work went to a school function of our friends then did some shopping at a local mall went to eat dinner and at 9:20 pm tonight got home.

I found this on my lawn. My dad made it today This is my first Toe Pincher coffin and he made it for me and left it on my grass.

I gotta love my dad he is so AWESOME He knocked this out in 3 or 4 hours today. He never made one before his friend took him to a decorated house and told him thats a Toe Pincher Coffin and he made it. Pretty good size too cause the walgreens skelly is what 5' tall. My daughter was able to fit inside it and she is 5'6" tall.

    Thanks Dad....

    What a great Dad!!
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

So, uh... I'm available for adoption if your Dad is looking for more kids. What an amazing guy! Thoughtful, talented, and he knows his daughter well! That's pretty admirable these days.

GobbyGruesome LOL .... he has 4 of us, 4 grand kids, 3 step grand kids and 5 great grand kids... not sure if there is room but I bet he would find room for you

You are so right, When I was growing up most if not all of my friends parents were separated or divorced. Him and my mom were married for 53 years before she passed away last Dec. They have always watched over me They were like a second mom and dad to my daughter growing up. I couldn't have asked for more Admirable parents growing up. My dad recently found a new g/f asked me how I felt I told him Dad you and mom were together most of your lives, you guys took care of each other and when she became sick you did everything you could to make her comfortable. You gave her a GREAT LIFE. The past 2 years of her being sick you were there for her in more ways than I could imagine. You Loved mom and I know you still do. Now she passed and you found someone to enjoy the time you have left here. I have no problem with you having a g/f I know you loved mom and still have her in your heart. If your new g/f makes you happy then by all means continue your relationship with her. I've said it before and I will say it always he is an AWESOME DAD.. and I am extremely lucky to have him in my life like I do.

Awe Snigglez, you're making me cry at this end.

They sound like wonderful parents who had a long, loving marriage, they were so lucky to have each other. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom.
