After 5 months of preparation, a new hurricane popped up and I'm in southern florida. We don't even need a direct hit to ruin my haunted house. Any one else affected by this
    Creepy.

Up here in central Illinois, so we might be effected by it after the day. Hopefully it will fizzle out!! Good luck & stay safe

I'm up here in Jacksonville and we're supposed to be well out of the way anyway, but we're supposed to be having a major cold front coming through later today, so hopefully that'll push the hurricane further south and you guys won't get much of it.

That's terrible. The weather is the one thing that can make or break us...just remember, there is always next year! Take care!

Yeah, my tombstones are anchored but it looks like we're going to get some bad wind even if it breaks up and doesn't really hit us (also the Walgreens ones from last year already had enough paint taken off by the rain... I ran out of time to refinish them). Ah well...

I know this sounds odd, but I haven't decorated outside because "I had a feeling" and wouldn't you know it - we had a freak day of rain a couple of days ago that would have ruined all of my stuff. Los Angeles may be famous for good weather, but it is unpredictable. So now I have a few scant days to put everything out...sheesh! Take care down there in Florida! Hope the tropical storm decides to dissipate.

Xane, same thing happened with my Walgreen tombstones. Two days in the rain and all the white is showing through. I bought mine last year and was wondering if being stored in a hot garage all year was the reason.

Sorry to hear about the weather. I used my web gun and spun some webbing before I got fed up with the annoying thing. The very next day we go such high winds I have to go out and do some more. Now it's supposed to rain all the day before so I have to set up by myself the day of instead of having my hubby helping me. I might have to go back to drinking pepsi to make it through.

Woohoo! Just looked at the latest track and it's showing the storm is getting pushed back by the cold front. Looks like Florida is iin the clear!
