Hey! I'm so excited! I just carved the SAMCRO pumpkin and texted a pic of it to my hubby. He loved it, and sent it to his boss (he works part time for the local Classic Rock station). His boss loved it, and now wants to commision me to carve a craft pumpkin for the station down south (his main office) they are going to pay me a hundred bucks to carve their logo shipping is on them, as it goes from the station. after the cost of the pumpkin itself, I'll make about $75 for a fairly simple carve I'm excited

have any other haunters here randomly been asked to do a prop for money even though you don't do it on a regular basis? I know it's not much that I'm doing, but I'm still happy!

    No, but that's sweet! Congratulations!

I'm pretty small-game, and I move around a lot, so it would be hard to get in on something fun like this.

    This!! So much!!

My thing about doing paper mache or drawings or whatever for money is I'm afraid I'd never wanna give it away or that once you start doing something like that over & over again it'd become a chore & less fun.

This makes me think about my professional home haunter service I want to start around every Halloween.

Design people's yard haunts for them and get paid to do it.

I've got so many good ideas to implement. I think people will notice it especially after THIS year.

TrickRtreater, that would be wonderfully fun! I would love to do something like that! RCIAG I don't think I will be getting enough calls for pumpkin commission work to make it boring or repetative haha...it's just one, and for a radio station, so I've never done anything like it before I don't think I could ever do it full time haha

moony--sweet deal! Can you post a pic of your SAMCRO pumpkin for us? I'm a big SOA fan and would love to see it.

If you have JoAnn Fabrics in your area, check them out--the one near me has their funkins on sale already.

Art/craft for cash is only a drag when you end up doing stuff you don't want to do. Since this isn't your main gig, you can be choosy about the projects you take on. Only pick sutff that looks like fun for you.
