Thread: When do you carve your pumpkins

I carve mine Halloween day, usually in the morning. But I only have one or two usually.

I have 6 to carve this year...I've had up to 15 in the past, that was carving hell...
This year I will be carving Saturday or Sunday, never more than 3 days.

I carved mine a week ago and covered all of the cuts with vaseline. It's the first time I did it, but they've stayed as crisp as the day I carved them. I also read that if they do wilt, simply submerge the pumpkin in water and it will rehydrate them.
