Decorate with spider webs WITHOUT ending up looking like the spider's dinner? I have a college degree and have 2 children that I successfully keep from killing each other on a daily basis, but cannot make the webbing look good. Everyone has their strengths and this is so not mine! Any tips out there? I have a wooden trellis that I am covering with spiders and those spiders need a home.

I'm terrible at it too. Everything always looks like a giant sneezed all over it.

Hey kloey74. I think you're half way there - the first part is admitting you have a problem.

There's a thread here that covers the same question. The main point I got from it is that you really have to stretch the hell out of it (and don't cut it!)
    Spider webs

We've never used spider-webs before, because I always think they look like crap, but after reading that thread, we're gonna give it a go. Good luck. (And a "Welcome" to Get Serious too! I think we may have enough for a spider-web support group. )

Thanks for the link! You would think that something so simple wouldn't be the source of so much swearing. I will admit that I have cut it--never again. I think I would definitely qualify for membership. Hello my name is kloey74 and I canNOT use spider webbing. I will require pumpkin spice donuts at the meeting.

    Everybody..."Hi Kloey74"

    Done and done!

Don't feel bad, it's an epidemic. But we must work to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

(Sorry, too many team building meetings.)

Ugh team building. At the last one I went to, we had to do the trust fall. Halloween scares are waaaaay more fun then the scare that comes from possibly being dropped. And there were no pumpkin spiced donuts!

Have you considered a web gun or web drill spinner contraption?
