Thank you all for commiserating with me! I'm glad we're inthe same boat - creaky, leaky and starting to take on water, but still sea-worthy!
FWIW, I worked all day Saturday and most of the day today, and don't feel quite as bad - I guess the joints needed some stretching!
And I'm happy to say that except for some details, the GARAGE OF TERROR (for want of a better name!) is ready to rock! WE'll have the grand opening Saturday night during our Halloween party. Yahooie!

Wow...what a bunch of OOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDD!!! haunters we have here. Suck it up, you're leaving a bad impression on the youngsters here.

Ran the Vegas Ragnar this weekend. Some young kid (32) ran on our team and he flew out of Vegas after the run, instead of riding the van back. He told the guys who dropped him off that he didn't think the old guys would be able to hang during the run. Then he said that now he has to train harder so he can keep up. We kicked butt...granted we shouldn't have started with the first group, but we led every stage through leg 12 (of 36) and then we got hit with a five hour time delay because we got to one of the exchange points to soon. Drove back last night, got in at 3:30am and have been going up and down ladders all day setting up. Feel great other than missing the Husker game yesterday

At 25 I came down with a weird neurological pain condition that affects the entire left side of my body. No pain killers work. So I go in spurts. I wait until I have a better than usual pain day and push myself until I can't go anymore. However, then I'm out of commission for three or four days. But I pushed it this weekend. My hubby and I have been putting off outdoor decor until there's less chance of a windstorm, but this weekend was a must. So far- Finished assembling the new mausoleum and the 4 cemetery pillars. They are sitting in the garage waiting to be painted. We got the path through the cemetery fenced and lit. Got a portion of the atmospheric decor up- corn stalks, pumpkins (still uncarved), windows boarded up, and I was able to work a little on my moving reindeer werewolf. After all of that my left side is just humming with pain.
Needless to say I can totally feel your pain. I'm only 31 and my body creaks like I'm closing on 60. Ah, to be young and unbroken again. But Halloween night is completely worth it.
When Hallows Eve draws close once more
    And terror rides the wind
    The Ravenfells shall waken
    And stalk their lands again.
