So what is the "ideal" weather conditions for a good fog effect. I know no wind, but cool temps? mild temp? what about humidity? Got a fogger last weekend and was going to experiment with a chiller this weekend - so I was just wondering (oh and I was planning on water the lawn before using the fog/chiller, as I have previously read that suggestions). Thank you

Good Question. From my work in theater we've found that HIGH humidity will help fog hang around quite a bit longer. Low winds, but not NO wind or it'll just stagnate at the fogger and not spread around a whole lot. Cooler temps should help cool the fog so it sticks around near the ground and doesn't rise as badly.

Cooler temps are not your friend. I live in the prairies of Canada and aside from this year, temperatures are usually in the minus degree Celsius. Considering regular ice is only 0°C or so it's impossible to chill your fog below that. However, if your living in a climate that 10-20+° on Halloween I think you'll be okay.
