I read through the rules 2 or 3 times to make sure I wasn't breaking them by posting this and I think I'm ok.

I would love to get some feedback from you guys on my new website.

I love wix, but one thing that really sucks is that not every computer usually sees your site the same and in a lot of cases, can't see it at all. It's the whole flash thing unfortunately. On the other hand, I can see your site and it's nicely done. Disgusting! Though nicely done!

The site is well done but more information and pictures would be helpful. Pricing is very vague in the $ and up. What are the "up" prices? Is the skull featured in the gallery a $25 model or "up"? What additional features can you get for a higher price point? Im not sure what constitutes "gore". Is it body parts, organs, slimey viscera, all of the above? Criticisms aside, I love the skull. Very Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I look forward to updates.

I just checked it out. Looks good. Always can use more detail in discriptions on what you are getting for the price. I like the revolving viewer. On the one hand I do NOT like the dark red lettering. I could only read about a paragraph before my eyes started to hurt. Could be my monitor but, if you lighten the lettering it would be easier on us "older" folks. lol Once you get up and running you will have to swap over to the merchance's section and keep us updated on your stuff.

My first impression was that this was another "how to" site similar to the old skull and bones website. I've worked in retail management for 20+ years and have dabbled in technical writing and editing too. If this is to be an online store then it needs to look like one. I'm not familiar with wix, but if you can lose the entrance page then do, if you can't then I would add a disclaimer stating that this is an online store and that some of the content may be disturbing for younger children. Your entrance page would then fulfill both of the previously mentioned suggestions. You ,of course, need sample pictures next to all of your pricing and tons more pictures from all different angles in the gallery. Somewhere you also need to mention how we are all going to pay. Overall, I'm really impressed that you are able to take your passion and turn it into a business, something that most of us here would love to do if only we didn't have to make house payments, pay college tuition etc. Good luck with your endeavor- WC

This is EXACTLY what I was hoping to gain from you guys. Thank you very much for your comments and constructive criticism.

The site is very much NOT a finished product, but I wanted input from other haunters before I could finish anything.


My vision for the store portion is that it have drop down menu options for the different options on the skulls which will show you the price increase per option and such.

Unfortunately with wix I cannot get rid of the entrance page. But thank you for the disclaimer suggestion, I completely overlooked that.

Please keep the critiques coming guys, I greatly appreciate all the input.

Taking several of the input/ideas you guys provided I have updated the site.

Still working on more pictures and the actual store.

I personally disagree with the "disclaimer"...I've been to gory sites that don't have a disclaimer. But it's all personal preference. I would change the wording from "viewer" to user, or some such degree, makes it sound like a movie :P I would suggest more photos!!! have some full corpse photos, and maybe prices WITH the photos, depicting a better idea of what you can get for what price (what does the base skull, corpse etc look like? and what would one with the "extras" look like?) I think the site itself looks good, but it's all in the details! You need more details!!! good luck, looks good thus far!

I literally JUST added more photos of the corpse and changed the viewer to have details for the photos when you click them they zoom in for the larger picture, and when you float your mouse over it, it shows you the details of the options that that skull has.

It's a work in progress for sure...keep the input coming guys I greatly appreciate it.
