We always had huge HW parties...err...benders...whatever you want to call them. Cars parked around the block. Beverages flowing, music rocking. People passed out on the sofa.
In just over one week, our house will be crawling with about 20 kids four years old and under. What a difference! The beverages will be milk and apple juice, the music will be be from the Fisher Price CD... but many of our guests will still likely pass out asleep on the sofa before the night is over.
Worrying about the setup has been dramatically different this year. Instead of last minute builds/fixes, circuit breaker woes, watching the weather... my main job is going to be "Pumpkin gutter."
I can't wait! Can't wait to read about all your parties and see pics.

True. Having children changes everything. My son is only 18-months old, so we're not quite at the having-a-houseful-of-kids-party stage yet . . . but within a year or two, I'm sure we'll be there too.

What CD is that? I may be interested in picking up a copy and playing it for my son.'A mind of metal and wheels . . .'

There is a fisher price hw cd at those kiosks at Walmart and target where you can sample the music. Bought the mp3 album on amazon for 8 bucks. My boys love it. It is "fisher price little people Halloween.". That's not the exact title but you can find it with that.

Honestly, that sounds like so much fun! Both my kids are twenty-somethings now and I miss those preschool days. Make every miniute count - it goes by way too fast!

I'm right behind you. My son is almost 13 months now. We're doing our adults only party this year, but even preparing for it with a high maintenance 1 year old (while also working full time) is quite difficult.
