I think we are about 75% done with construction, but haven't even started on lighting or sound effects. I am starting to get a little stressed about the sound since we had trouble last year. And to top it off, we are doing a Saturday night party for family in case they don't have time to stop by on Halloween, so that even shaves off two days.
Anyone else not ready?

Actually I've made it so I'm not going to be stressed at all! I'm adding a few projects for the graveyard but I've FORCED myself NOT to do certain projects so I can enjoy finishing up what I've started. It's a little gift I gave myself this year because this year has been stressful enough.
Now last year..........yikes!!!!!
Good luck in finishing up!!!! I'd help if I were close!"Certainly of death? Small chance of success??? Well, What Are We Waiting For?!?!?" -Gimli from "The Lord of the Rings-The Return of the King"

Not even close to ready....but the ToTs won't know that. I'm losing 6 days too between now and Halloween do to roadtrips. Basically I have two days of leave plus the Sunday before Halloween and Halloween itself to get stuff done and four evenings after work to ops check pneumatics and foggers.
I live for this go-go-go-go-go-go time of year.

I will be working on stuff up until the first kid hits the house. However no one else will know this but me. I have already pushed a few items to next year and plan to make some improvements over the winter on stuff already set up.

I've been slacking off which can be costly when dealing with setting up and getting ready, it ends today, I'm going full bore, don't want to stress out on the 11th hour....

Because I'll be gone this weekend, I'll probably be setting up my graveyard the weekend before the big dance. And that might not be a bad thing.......

I always feel like I'm behind during the whole month of October. Even when I'm not......

I know exactly how you feel! I hope most of us acknowledge that all the stress and rush of organization and creation of props, costumes, decor, etc. is what partially makes this a great holiday!
Remember, guys, most of us will be depressed come November when Halloween is gone. Enjoy the stress and rush while you can and a take a few minutes to step back and really admire what you have accomplished as the days pass by and the big day gets closer.-Joel From Southern California

I'm a horrible procrastinator so I'm always behind on everything I want to do. However, with the awful weather the past 4 days, I'm glad I didn't get any outdoor projects done. Right now I'm working on my spotlight tutorial and am going to make skulls with candles on them. Will do outdoor setup on Friday, most likely.

Haven't started our garage maze panels yet, nor sound FX! We do have our cemetery done, the lighting set up for outside, my "imported" corn patch is in place.....still a lot to do, we are getting a little edgey...
What I am going to need is your standard flame thrower...
