I have purchased latex prosthetics for two costumes, wolfman and zombie. One for myself and one for my partner. My question is: should I paint the latex pieces before gluing them on. I am planning on using PAX paint that I will mix myself. The reason I would like to paint the pieces before hand is to save time on the big day. Also, I don't know if I can paint my own face after applying the piece, it somewhat obstructs my vision and my F/X contacts are plain and i don't think I wil be able to wear glasses over the piece to apply the makeup. If anyone has experience with PAX and knows if you can use RMG paint on top of PAX please advise.

Not familiar with PAX makeup but had painted the hubby's latex appliance beforehand last year with acrylic paint both by hand and airbrush and had no problems. Here's a shot of it:

InstantMonsters.com has a great 2 video tutorial on applying and painting prosthetics.
That's the method I'm going with.
