Just came across a small poll on MSN Canada which asks about whether or not the general public is ready for Halloween and was saddened by the results.

    This is the poll...

    Are you ready for Halloween?

Are you kidding? I’ve had my costume idea since last November 1st! 12 % (86 votes)===>this was where I fell in, not that anyone here would be surprised.
    Not at all. I don’t even have a costume yet… 31 % (218 votes)
    I don’t celebrate Halloween 57 % (403 votes)

    Makes me so sad.
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

Buck up, Boo Baby! Lots of new Canadians so maybe they just haven't been indoctrinated yet. We'll get 'em.

Besides, all the REAL Halloween people are far too busy decorating and prop building and costume making - who has time to answer web polls?

Actually, when I think about it, 43% is not that bad a number. Does that mean every 3rd house should be decorated? I haven't seen that happen in 30 years.

Actually I like the fact that Not a lot of people are into Halloween. More people would probably start to ruin it. I have been going to haunted happenings in Salem Ma since they started in 1982. each year...more and more people attend. and each year it s gets a little worse IMO. I remember the early years when there were no crowds or cheesy t-shirt/fried dough booths. It was historical and Classic Halloween at its best....now....its very crowded, you have to boot a room in salem a year in advance!!! and every 10 feet or so...there is a fried dough or hot dog shack.

Don't be sad! YOU keep celebrating. Forty-something percent (if that poll was even accurate) is still a buttload of people!
