This year is not going well here in Michigan. The last two years we had high winds the day before Halloween which resulted in heavy damage to my cemetery column.

This year the winds have arrived early. Its cold, wet and miserable and I have caught a cold....UGH! I don't think I will be setting up the Mausoluem. 50 degrees just doesn't sound fun.


I hope things change soon.

I agree i had to repair my newly built tomb a few weeks ago and ive got some stones down out there today. No point fixing. Thought they said the weather was going to improve today? Sure doesnt feel like it is going to get any better...atleast weve got a full weekend of sports to watch...id rather be creating though......

We're in MI too - many things got damaged in the wind. I think it's 30MPH+ today! Thinking about bringing in several Halloween items in until Halloween day so we don't lose anything else. ugh!

Yep just had another loss. My lid for my groundbreaking toe pincher is no where to be found and i thought it was pretty secured............grrrrrrr

Yeah,when it rains, it pours. My dishwasher just blew apart and dumped water on my drywalled ceiling. Its prom night, can it get any better?

The high winds were supposed to die down this afternoon;fat chance. I think the weather man is a crack head.

I know how you feel. Last year I donated several foam skulls to the neighbor kids from the high winds on Devils night. Well, look at it this way, you've got something to do rather than watch college football.....

Lid found undamaged!!! Thank goodness.....weather doesnt look so hot this next week on my days off either..ah well...this is what we do. Loving those changing leaves.. and crisper temps anyways.

I just put my stuff back up from yesterday's wind stor.25-35 mph winds all day yesterday and up till about 6 today.I didn't have any damage just some fallen skellys.

Half my cemetary and hanging props are down.... some are a bit damaged too... sigh... huge rain and winds already... hope it get's better for the rest of October..
