25-35mph winds here today and tomorrow. My skellys have fell over but everything else looks to be ok.I hope it will still be standing tomorrow night. We have also had alot of rain this week.I was able to turn on my lights and wiper motor props but nothing else because of the rain.
I hope other haunters are not having this weather.

We are being rained on for the next 7 days (been raining for 2) with high winds. I guess I'll be working in the garage... Sight.

Oh, and cold weatehr too. 8 to 10 degrees... perfect way to get sick!

We had heavy rain and high winds last weekend but no damage. All I have out is my graveyard and everything is staked down pretty good. The tallest prop in the graveyard is my groundbreaker coffin at about 4ft and it is still standing, no movement at all. Now, once I put out my witches and my reaper, I'll be more concerned about wind.

It would not be halloween if not for WIND....lol I have learned through the years how to stake down and keep it down, we have had rain so I covered the props i didn't want wet. I still have electronic stuff to put out but will wait until couple days before party.......working on inside crypt walls and dance hall this weekend...............

I can sooo relate. I put up the faux boarded up windows again this year. This time I took off the clear plastic that I didn't do the year before. Worked great until we started getting the southern wind. Temps were in the 70's and then in the 50's at night. The wind and temp changes have reaked havoc on the industrial strength velcro and the boards keep falling off. Now I'll just put them up the day of Halloween since I'm sick of running up the ladder to keep putting them back up.

Judging by the weather map I've just checked, most of us are getting the same crummy weather. Here in Western New York we have a high wind warning until tomorrow evening. I think the cobwebs my husband just put up will have a few more leaves in them! We'll definitely have to postpone the cemetery construction.

We had the high winds and rain yesterday. Shingles blew off a neighbors house and damaged my tombstones. I am just starting the repair process now and its pushing me behind schedule. I guess I shouldnt complain too much....I could be replacing shingles.
We dont need a body bag, we need a bucket.............and a strainer.

We have had unusually high temps during the day and my boards keep falling off too! Last year I may have had one or two slip but I have at least 6 down right now and I just re-hung 3 that fell weekend.. grrrrrr I'm thinking about sticking a circle of duct tape to the actual window and "board". Maybe that would help keep them up??

Growler and I share weather. it was so nice last week that I was starting to think about maybe setting stuff out early this year, but then the rain and wind [which is more typical for us] kicked in with a vengeance and i'm glad i resisted. i have a bunch of largish branches down in the back and i helped the next door neighbor retrieve some of their display from the street. My part of the city got massive gusts of wind yesterday when the storm hit and it played hell with people decorations. My neighbor found a blow mold from someplace down the street in her yard and it still had an extension cord attached. We expect the owner to come looking for it eventually.
