...just when I ask Sally to came down to take a look because it's all done. Powered up, lighting on, motion sensor working and sound track all triggering. I go grab the little lady because I'm so proud and want to show her. The dog comes too because he's a PITA about Halloween.
She's standing there telling me how much she likes my sound track and "SNAP" the fishing line on the head breaks. It falls on the dog and scares him away.
All I get is "why did that happen"?
That was it for last night, I packed it in and will get to working out the kinks tonight. Like I don't have a thousand other things I wanted to do.
Thanks for reading my rant.

I've been there. Try using Spider Wire fishing line rather than the regular stuff. It's incredibly strong. Just make sure you get the braided line rather than the monofilament as it will glow under the black light.

Been there! I switched mine out for some heavy duty black cord an army guy gave me and haven't had an issue since.

I picked up some Spider Wire yesterday and got it all hooked up again. I let it run constantly for about 2 hours and so far it looks good. I'm going to make up some replacement lines just in case and swap them all out right before the big night. It will run intermittent so I don't believe it will have more than 2 hours of constant running time when we go live.
Now on to the next disaster...I fried 3 transistors on my home made motion sensors on the same day as the ghost header. Luckily I had spares to replace them. Mental note 'don't connect the motions sensors to the PC power supply'.Boo!
