I decided to decorate my front porch as a vampires lair...I loved the idea at first but now I can't figure out what all decor I should use. I have a vampires coffin, spiders, bats, the devil, vampire blood wine bottles and glasses...so what am I missing??? help....I think my brain has hit overload..

If you've got an old, suitably ornate and/or gothic-looking picture frame sitting around, maybe you could simulate a shattered mirror? (Not sure exactly how that would be done, but someone else on here might know how to achieve the effect.)

Edited to add: Found some links re: "sugar glass", which I had posted over in this thread: Doing a mirrior room and have a broken glass sound effect.

Maybe some red satin and black lace from the fabric store.... drape it over a chair, or cut it into wide strips and hang it along the edge of the porch like old-timey drapes. It'll look great blowing in the wind.

look to the little details,, I did a vampire lair last year,, and the Tot'ers all loved the fact that as they came in I have Vampire hunter stuff bloodstained and a skeleton or two dressed up as one in a death throw pose... with the tell tale bite marks on the carefully placed corpse skin..

I am a firm believer the visual PREstory up to the story with little details does wonders on a haunt.

I always think of "Salem's Lot" when I want to go scary with a vampire theme: Hissing sounds, Danny Glick hanging around, broken crucifixs and I always loved the picture someone had (might have been Zombie-F on HauntForum) that had a coffin out of the ground with a cross cut out and a green light pouring out of it.
