Thread: dollar tree extension cords

has anyone used these and are they safe? i need more extension cords for inside the house for my sunroom decorations. These are a good price but worry about fire hazzard since so cheap. Any thoughts??

I've used them for small things (nothing heavy duty), & have had no problems. Look them over & check for the "UL listed" tag to be sure they're UL compliant.

oh ok thanks may get a few then they will not have much on them a couple jackolanterns and on another side of room 4 small window light ups all are set on timers, we have the cords we use in the yard now but will need back in yard, i changed the display in the sunroom this year to include few lighted items

was worried because with timer will be plugged in all the time and have a dog home alone at times when i work and my father is out of town
