One of the biggest yard haunts in my town will not return this year or probably ever due to a large theft that took place last October leaving the home owner out of $800.00 worth of props. After chatting with him a bit I felt like I may be one of the last in my town to haunt but.....I was wrong!

Halloween is alive in my city and I have pictures to prove it. Although one of the greats have fallen there are many of us still out there! Here are some photos of a few I saw in town. Whats in your town/city? Snap a shot of the neighbors pumpkin, inflatable, blow mold or all out haunt and lets see whos town is alive with the Spirit of Halloween.

Lucky! We only get very few homes that decorate here where I live. The ones that do decorate are slowly popping up.

I don't have any pics, but just walking my dog around a two block area this morning and I counted no less than 11 houses with some kind of decor, even if just lights. Seems more houses are putting some effort into Halloween this year. I know of several more in the area who are putting up full blown haunts. We also have about 8 haunted attractions open too. Hoping to take some of them in over the next couple weeks.

We are the only house I have seen with anything at all, and we literally have a couple witches, my awesome tombstone, and pumpkins so far. It is really sad.

I've seen a few houses around town, here in Alameda, CA, just outside San Francisco. Our town has a contest for decorated houses, hoping it gets a lot of entries this year as I'm in on the planning this year.

I'm on your partyline, Mr.Gris, cause my neighborhood is crawlin' with 'em. And we're not even one of the more decorate-y neighborhoods. Saw more up this morning on my way to work and was just like, *sigh* "I love Halloween."

I'll do a run-around and get some pics if I can later this week. Nothing too elaborate - like I said, we are not the top-notchers. But very in the spirit!

Awesome! I haven't seen much in my neighborhood yet but people around here tend to start a bit late. One house on the main road put out a huge inflatable pumpkin last year to have someone steal it.

I don't think they put anything out since then. It seems those on the main road through my neighborhood get hit with theft while us cul-de-sac houses usually don't. More chance of them getting caught I guess turning around to go back up the street. And my dog will bark madly at anyone even coming close to our yard.

Nope same three houses in our neighborhood. Ours, the lady a block over with a luminary and one house about 6 blocks away has a blow mold pumpkin out with a Michael's cutesy scarecrow. I'll have to start driving around to see if anyone else is in the spirit.

That is just awesome. Good to know some people still get into the spirit! The columns in that first pic looks like something you'd see here on this forum. I wonder if they're a member lol. Not a single house decorated around here I have Beistle cuts in my front windows, but I can't do much else. The house is right up the sidewalk, so I'm affraid if I put anything out, it'll get stolen. I'll definately put some stuff out for the big night though!

I have seen a few others home so I will throw the camera in my jacket today and take pictures as I find them. What I thought was cool in the first pic with the columns is his placement of a single blow mold. I dont know if anyone noticed it as its like a "Wheres Waldo?" Look in the very top of the highest tree! Now that is protecting your blow mold from theft I guess HAHAHA
