Thread: I am so excited I just had to share

I was just outside working on some props and a guy stopped by. We started talking and he told me how much the neighborhood appreciates what I am doing. That he and some of his church members were wanting to ask if I could spare a couple hours and teach a class on some crafts and maybe help the kids with Halloween costumes. I was thrilled that the preacher asked me that. Now I am not in the same caliber as all of you at making props but I was so honored to have him think enough of my haunt to ask me that. So it looks like I will be building props and costumes with the neighbors on the Saturday before Halloween. So I think the Halloween Spirit is slowly coming back to life around here..wooohoooooooo

It is a very cool thing to have that validation and support. Tremendous to hear and good job!! Also, it sure makes for good relationsips with neighbors.

It is nice to see talent and a love for Halloween rewarded. Of course the reward is more work for you, but what a great way to promote the holiday and inspire young future haunters!
