Hey everyone,
Our theme this year revolves around a nuclear waste storage facility that has suffered an accident. After passing by "contaminated" areas we would like to offer an "antidote" in the form of candy when they get to the door. I don't know if anyone has any ideas for what candy that might be? We like to pass out full size bars but I was hoping there might be a clever candy brand that could tie in, any thoughts? Thanks in advance!![]()

Lifesavers seems like an obvious brand name, but my first thought was something with a liquid center. Can't think of any brands at the moment. Or maybe something sort of pill shaped, like Nerds - take two every hour.

Unfortunately, this is EXPENSIVE;

But maybe you can print your own wrappers to put on the candy you already pass out
And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting

I would think more towards the pill looking candies. Something like Mike & Ikes, or Hot Tamales, pez, or m&m's. You could carry it around in a pill bottle? I really can't think of a full sized candy bar that would fit this situation.

Uh, I'm not sure passing candy as pills would be a good idea. I know kids aren't stupid but...better safe than sorry?
What about those candy straws like these-

and then you could stick 'Antidote' labels on them or something?

Thanks everyone. I like the idea of Life Savers, can't believe I hadn't thought of that. I also like putting a custom label around the candy bar. Candy in pill bottles would be realistic, but I do worry about the message that sends to younger TOTs.
Hmm, thanks for giving me some options to consider!

Geez, I thought this was for party guests, not giving out candy on Halloween. Sorry, my mistake. Yeah, probably not a good idea to make candy look like pills.

Life savers come in single wrapped pieces, cheap and easy to do on top of a regular candy.
Sweet tarts come in those little paper wrappers 2 packs, cheap, easy, simple to customize wrapper to look right.
Necco Wafers could get a custom wrapper.
Gushers have the liquid center mentioned above, come in little packs could be customized.
As for brand names...
Call me crazy, but I think Milk Duds kinda fit... (see, the radiation was a dud...)
Snickers (get it, it's a joke, snicker...) never mind..
Insert gummy animal here: Radioactive bugs!
Mentos: the FRESHmaker... (nevermind...)

Ooo, ooo,
(don't even know where to buy them anymore) RED HOTS!
They were always my favorites...(though hot tamales I guess kinda fit)
Atomic fireballs still around?Last edited by UnOrthodOx; 10-10-2011 at 11:12 AM.

Wax bottles with the juice in them? You can get them individually wrapped.
