Thread: Zombie Family BBQ

When TOTs come out of my haunt they are going to come across my Zombie family having a BBQ. I am going to set up my grill and patio furniture outside the door.

The dad will be at the grill cooking up some food and the mother and child will be at the table.

This is the menu
Pus-tatoe salad
brains (of course, their zombies)
pickled eyeballs
liver burgers
shiskabobs (fingers, eyeballs or mix)
intestines (fried or grilled)
spaghetti with eyeballs (Kids are picky eaters)

and for desert Key Lung Pie.

I had bought some packs of fake liver, brains and fingers from the Dollar Tree a while back.

The eyes I am making out of ping pong balls. Kinda did a hurry up version of one of the tutorials on here and using Terra's iris' sheet.

The hamburger buns, pus-tatoe salad, intestines, spaghetti and the key lung pie I did with great stuff.

The buns actually came out not to bad. I just got a foam plate and sprayed a decent size blob of great stuff on it. It expanded and once it dried I cut it in half like a bun. Same thing with the pie. Just a bigger blob. I tried to cut a slice out of it but the inside is mainly hollow so I have the slice cut into it and I am going to have a plastic knife sticking out of it.

The spaghetti, well that was a fluke. I had waited a while with the great stuff and went to do some more and of course it was clogged. I punced a hole in the clog with a piece of wire and started spraying and little strings came out so I just started spraying it around a paper plate and it ended up looking like spaghetti. It kinda looks like it has alfedo sause on it too.

I am going to draw up a sign so people know what they are looking at. I painted the foam with different colors to try to make it look a little more real.

I'll try to get some pics up here in a bit.

See, normally that would look really gross to me, but throw it on a grill, nice cold beer, hmmm... has possibilities. I'd try the eyeballkabob, at least.

Hey, once you finish setting it up you should take a pic for that guy you work with that eats everything and ask him what he thinks of the meal you cooked last night. Or no, wait - bring some to work after Halloween and slip it in the fridge and see if it shows up on his desk.

That would be funny and I would definately wait till after Halloween. But then again, having a big ole mouth bite in the liver burger might make it more realistic.
