So my husband has told me that I'm allowed to pick 2 animatronics from Spirit this year for our halloween party and yard haunt. These will be the first animatronics we have. In your opinion what gives the biggest bang/scare for the best price? We were looking at the insane serial killer, magic mirror, crated mummy, etc......there's just to many choices. I would like to hear what you all think.

I bought the Jumping Spider and the Eaten Alive guy. The spider is a good startle, but the Eaten Alive guy is truly wicked. Love it!!!

Oh my....too many to choose from! You can't go wrong with any "Spirit Exclusives" and better jump on it if you can find that spider. Also - some of the smaller props are really cool and you might be able to purchase several for the price of one big prop. For example: The table-top urn that when activated - a face appears on the front of the urn and it speaks. Also - the "Sand-of-Time" hour glass is really cool. Also, check online for the Hovering Ghost or Rising from the Grave Reaper as they appear to give a big bang for the buck IMO. Be sure to "friend" Spirit on Facebook and get a 20% off coupon. Makes a huge difference on a large expensive prop.

Jumping Spider if you can find it. Reaction in the store is priceless.
I personally like the Megan/Exorcist figure.
What you select can depend on theme. A cemetery/morgure can't go wrong with a zombie/undead. OTOH, a mad lab could use a monster or scientist like Dr. Shivers, who is available again this year - but not at Spirit...

You and I are on the same page Cathy...I bought the jumping spider prop and I really, REALLY want the eaten alive, its amazing!!

Oh don't buy Frankie, he's definitely not worth $300. He does nothing but growl & his eyes & neckbolts flash. His mouth doesn't even move.
