Pretty sure this is an okay thread. If not, let it die, I guess. Or report it.
Anyway, for me, my biggest tradition around this time of year is watching Halloween episodes and specials of TV shows that I've seen. Or, in some cases, I'll even watch Halloween episodes of shows I've never seen, such as Family Guy, this year.
I have a pretty long list, and every year I make sure to watch each and every one of them. Having a DVR works wonders in this case.
And yes, most of the episodes I watch are cartoons. The Spongebob episode is a classic, and there's supposed to be a new one this year.
I'll post my list here later or tomorrow, but for now, what are the Halloween episodes or specials you always try to watch each year? Don't limit it to just episodes, movies and the like count as well. Halloweentown, anyone?

i ALWAYS WATCH ALL OF HALLOWEENS AND TRICK R TREAT. ALSO IT'S A GREAT PUMPKIN CHARLIE BROWN IS A MUST. as far as TV shows I try to catch all the rosanne ones or anything that has a sit com season that includes a Halloween episode
I met this six-year-old child, with this blank, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the devil's eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil

There is a sticky thread at the top of the general halloween section called "This week on Halloween TV" that updates for any and all Halloween specials can be checked out (or post your own!):
This week on Halloween TV
I always end up watching more horror/suspense movies in my collection during the month of October... the classics like Universal Monsters, Freddy, Jason, Michael, some newer stuff (love Monster House and Trick r Treat!), and lots of tv specials - It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Scooby Doo Mysteries...I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

If there's a Halloween episode of a show we watch, I'll be glued to it. Since "Good Luck Charlie" is The Deduction's favorite show, safe bet we'll be catching that episode next week. And many...many....times after that...

The only ones I go out of my way to watch again and again, though, are the HGTV Halloween specials if they bother to show them again
...including the one (Extreme Halloween?) that featured a couple (former?) members of this Forum Family. Lately it's seemed like they do less and less of them, though (and frankly less and less general programming I'm interested in - guess I'm more of a DIY guy but I'm not upgrading my satellite for that!)
I also usually try to catch Marth Stewart's Halloween shows (love her or hate her, she does some good Halloween) and some of the Food Network specials.
We, too, make a point of watching Halloween-related movies during the season. The Deduction's reached the age where some of the ones Daddy likes get put off until she goes to bed (correction - IF she goes to bed), but you can count on a few:
Nightmare Before Christmas
Corpse Bride
Coraline
Princess and the Frog (not a Halloween movie you say? Come ON - voodoo, shadow demons, poppets, people being dragged bodily to Hell? What about that doesn't SCREAM Halloween? Except for being set during Mardi Gras and all)
It's a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
the Halloweentown series (just discovered that last year, where have I been???)
and as soon as I track down Disney's version of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, it'll be added to the playlist!
Oh, on tape (showing my age) also have an old Lifetime Special: "Intimate Portrait: Witches" that usually sees some play around this time of year. Yes I know that it has nothing to do with Halloween, but that's how it happens in Auditor-House.a plague on both your houses

I LOVE to watch the home improvement or travel channel shows about home haunters displays and the shows about how to make Halloween stuff. Not that many so far this year though.

I like the usual scary movies. I'm a big scary movie gal anyways but there is just something so wonderful about popping in a few scary movies on the weekends leading up to Halloween.
I also love Disneys Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and I'm really big on the Simpsons Halloween specials. I LOVE those!
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.
