    Hi everyone,

We’ve finally completed our outdoor Halloween yard display for this season.

This year we have twenty life sized figures in our yard plus two large seated skeletons. We have a few brand new figures, including a new Pinhead in his Hellraiser costume, a new black werewolf (made from a gorilla costume) with a much scarier mask than our brown wolfie, a man holding his head up off his neck, a gruesome zombie with red hair and a bloody axe, and a flying bloody female vampire which is positioned in our spruce tree at the left side of the photo.

We also made a few changes to existing figures. The mayor sitting in his chair is now a ghoul with its eyes hanging down from his face. Frankenstein has a new mask and clothes, Dracula has a new cape, and the brown wolfie has a new bloody shirt.

We have a small area right next to our driveway where we placed three baby ghouls together. We did this because these figures are the favorites of a little girl down the street. We also added a shirt to one of the baby ghouls that says “All of my friends are monsters”, and put Halloween booties on another of the babies.

There are 25 different tombstones in the yard, with new epitaphs or sayings on two-thirds of them. Five of them also have lenticular pictures on them that the kids really like.

Listed below are links to photos of all our individual figures and displays.

wow, amazing collection, but I must wonder about the weather? Do you leave everything out all the time? I would be scared of being robbed.

Nicely done Preston. Amazing, some fantastic props there. I'm with Os though, I'd be so nervous about vandals. Is it out all the time?
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

Thanks Osenator, Boo Baby and Kallie !! I'm so happy that you like our display. We have kids coming over every day now to look at it. They seem to remember everything that was in our yard from last year and one of the first things they do is look for what is new or different about it. LOL

Yes, we do leave everything out usually for about 6 weeks before Halloween and start taking it down right after Halloween each year. We do have day and night security cameras that are on at all times, but thankfully we have never had any vandalism. All of our props are staked down with heavy metal posts and 50 pound fishing line so they do withstand the rainy weather better and especially the nasty winds that we get each year.

I must ask, aren't you worried about ruining the animatronics in the weather? Makes me nervous thinking about it.. Other than that, fantastic display, I'm sure it's a sight to see in person!

Thanks GhostTown, Liuoliveira, and thehorrorfinatic. I'm hoping to add Michael Myers next year to our Monster Mash Graveyard.

The animatronics are protected from the weather and do hold up well. We have done it for several years now and it works well.
