Posting pics in a thread via Tinypic.... –

For those wanting to post pictures in a thread as opposed to an attachment, I use www.tinypic.com which works well for me...
First bring up the web page, which I like in a new window best. That way I can "alt" "tab" from one window to the next, ie Tinypic to Halloween Forum.

What you want to do is click on "browse" on Tinypic to browse the pictures you have saved on your computer. The file type is "image." They need to be saved onto your hard drive to upload to the hosting site. Click "browse" to select your picture from the folder on you hard drive you'd like & choose the Resize method of "Message Board."' That way the pic will fit into the posts here well & not be too big. You can have a copy of the link emailed to yourself if you'd like by clicking on the "share" box & entering your email address then entering a code the site gives you.
Once it's uploaded on tiny pic, highlight, copy & paste the "Direct Link for Layouts" which is a .jpg extension. When you come to a post on the HF forum, click the square in the toolbar of the post that looks like a frame with a tree in it. Looks similar to this:
Choose "from URL" and uncheck the "retrieve remote file" box. Paste the link you copied from tinypic into this box. Click "OK" and it should add the full picture to your post!
Hope this makes sense!
I didn't make him for you!... He carries the Charles Atlas seal of approval.
It's not easy having a good time! Even smiling makes my face ache!
