I would like to put a torso or ghoul etc. on the overhang of our peaked roof, it is a small area that is just overhead of the entrance steps. I've seen a few toro's online but a little too pricey for what I want to pay, unless of course theres a deal or I can make something.
Thanks.

Martha Stewart had a half torso ghost pattern that was really simple but looked amazing. I have tried to find pictures of it on the web and I don't have any of the ones I made, but basically it is a sheer piece of fabric cut into the shape of a ghost with cutouts of scary eyes, mouth, and long arms that hang down. You hang it head down over a door etc. with the arms hanging down towards the floor so it sort of appears to be reaching towards the person who is entering. The sheer material was nice because it is just a hint of a ghost. You could actually do the same sort of thing in white, grey, or black, depending on the setting and your lighting. I have also made these in a full length kind of figure and put them in jars or on mirrors with rubber cement and it looks like you captured a ghost in a jar. The face on these looks best if you make the cutouts for the eyes and mouth kind of look like the scream mask--but you can experiment and get something really evil looking.
It is cheap, easy to make, easy to hang and looks very haunting, wish I had a picture, because it is really hard to describe, but maybe someone else on here has a picture or can find an image.
