I know this is our "busy" time of the year, but I also know not everyone has that block party to go to.

If you are finding yourself with nothing to do on Friday October 28th and live near Rutherford, New Jersey Then......


This is no Trick, you're in for a treat,
We have pumpkins to carve and sweets to eat

As most of you know I am hosting my annual Halloween scavenger hunt Saturday night 10/29 at my sister Nichole's house for my nieces and nephews.
One of the riddles in the scavenger hunt is for a Jack-o-lantern. and I've placed it below :

Jack-o-lantern pumpkin head -He is a fearful sight.
If I were you, I'd be afraid, To meet him outside in the night.
By day he is a pumpkin, But just you wait 'til night.
When out of eyes and nose and mouth There shines a yellow light

I'd love help carving as many pumpkins as we can for me to use the following night to set the scene and illuminate her large yard.
That way, the kids will have to run all over to find the "right" one.


I will supply the pumpkins & carving patterns, knives , Food and Drinks.......
You bring your enthusiasm, Bandaids and ..hrmmm well safety glasses might not hurt.. and…and...

HAHA.. No Im sorry, I can't do that, According to my 4 yr old nephew.. Idaho is 1 thumb and three fingers away.... If that helps ....

Ohhh..this would be so much fun....I'm about 40 mins away. I'll be insane on Sat starting my final set up..but please..pm me with time, details ect... as it may be good to get away from my yard for a night.

Way too many states away or I would lend a hand. We have a house about a mile away on the main drag that puts out over 100 carved pumpkins each year. I have no idea how he affords it or how he carves them all. The guy is prob. in his 70's in a little bitty house with a HUGE flat front yard. LOVE that he is sooo into it. HATE that he has almost every blowmold known to man that he puts out in his front yard for xmas in no order what-so-ever.

Come on! where's your sense of adventure! I can get to the mall of america in 18 hours LOL........ its ONLY 1,195 miles ........
