Look at what my mom made me! A Halloween quilt:

Was so excited when I opened it. My mom started making quilts recently and she's been teasing me about one in the works. What a great mom I have :D

Oh hey, it even has spider web stitching! See it?:

Thought you'd all get a kick out of it. Usually you see these cutsie Halloween fabrics but not this. She told me that the blood splatter fabric is made by a lady who specializes in unique fabrics. So cool! In case you were wondering, yes I get my crafting skills from her. As long as I could remember she's been making stuff and learned all kinds of crafts with her as I grew up.

The design on the back is my favorite. Spiders and lace. Now that's a combination for the ages...

How wonderful! I have been setting aside several pieces of fabric to make a quilt. I found a wonderful toile that upon closer inspection is actually not people but skeletons. I am going to team it up with some black fabric print maybe add some red, but I have not found a pattern I want to use.

That is INCREDIBLE!! I seriously, soooper doooper love that!

And Gouliet.... Aaaprn (my wife) and I have been talking about those really cool table runner designs that you've made. Did you make those from scratch, or is there a pattern available? We really really like those too.

That killer quilt though....... WOW I love that. I would pay top dollar for that thing. AWESOME.

Love it! My sister is a professional quilter and a few years ago I put together a Halloween quilt top and she quilted it for me. She also used the spider web pattern with bats along the border. I love the fabrics used in yours, especially the backing - beautifully creepy!

Awesome quilt Terra. You do have a great mom! My grandmother was like that, I learned a lot from her. She was a seamstress by trade and did all kinds of crafts etc. It was great growing up with her. She would have chased kids in a haunt too. :D

But, did I mention, Awesome Quilt! :)

As a 3rd generations quilter I know it is something you will treasure forever.
