I met this six-year-old child, with this blank, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the devil's eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil

You know, this is something I never do, but I should start this year and add to the rest of my traditions.

I haven't done this in such a long time and I love them. I am definitely doing it this year.
Great idea to post some recipes. How does everyone roast and/or season them?

I have a a rather involved method of roasting the pumpkin seeds where I clean them and then soak them in salt water over night -- normally doing all this while the kids are carving them. Then following day I set them out to dry on a couple sheets of paper-towel. When dry I'll toss the seeds in mixture of melted butter and Old Bay (or any crab) seasoning.
Spread them out evenly on a pan and back them at about 150f for 45 minutes while shaking them around every 10 or 15 so they cook evenly.THE RESIDENT SKEPTIC (-- who happens to LOVE Halloween!!)
