If anyone is curious about the Fright Catalog Haunt Kit, this is what was in mine... Sorry about the glare on the second photo... those are the tracks on one of the cds.

yeah I got mine too but I noticed that some of the prices are typos. If I could get a stalk around costume for $20 dollars as it says in the catalog, and not for 2000 as it says online....well you know...

Did you guys know that by getting the Haunt Kit you're signing up for that $9.99 per month Club?

I didn't AT ALL. A month after I got my kit they charged me $9.99 and I called them to ask about it. They said it was clearly posted on their website and that they would cancel it for next month but they were NOT refunding my money. I couldn't believe it. I honestly just thought I was ordering their catalog and was paying a little bit more for some extra goodies. I feel seriously duped. I'm considering disputing the charge through my bank. I posted about it in the merchant reviews section but I would be TOTALLY curious to know if you guys had a similar experience.

so far I haven't been charged...but after everything I think someone else on the forum here mentioned that there would be a price, by then it was too late and I already had my kit...

yes you will be charged. 9.99 if you dont call and cancel right after getting your kit, you will get some sales rep that will try to sway you out of canceling by saying you can win a prop blah blah blah, I told him no thank you cancel right away and so far havent been charged.. it's a cool little kit worth the 5$ but nothing more is worth the 10.00$

Thats just dirty. I did not know about the 9.99 either. I just called them and got a machine so I left a message. I emailed them too and asked to be taken off their email and mailing list. I don't want anything to do with a company that tries to pull a fast one.......

I don't think you're missing anything Amy & Samhain. In fact you're actually saving some money by not joining. You can find what they have much cheaper other places, even at Spirit.

I, too, got charged the $9.99. The company refuses to refund. I encourage all who were ripped-off to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I did and the more who do so the better!
