Just wanted to pass along I was in my local Lowes tonight & they has GE par 38 floodlights in red green & blue on clearance for $1.02 for red and $1.74 for blue & green. Not sure if they are the same in your area but might be worth a check if your in there.

Wow! I usually spend $5 per bulb to get the PAR 38 Sylvania ones. I'll look for these!

I've seen those at mine too! Haven't got any yet tho. How well do they work? Do they light a large area or are they like spotlights?

They are floodlight cover a large area in a wash of color. Bulbs are 65 watt. I have used 4 of them in my front yard for the last 4 years.
