what up halloween folk, so this year the wen before halloween we will be hosting a Halloween Pumpkin Carving party! I have about 20 guests coming so far. I live in a nice apt not to big not to small, I was wondering if any one on here has hosted one of these events before and what kind of suggestions you could throw my way on keeping the carpet clean and not getting pumpkin guts all over my clean apt? also what do you think would be the easyest way for the guests to throw away the guts seeds and rims etc?? gunna make lots of halloween treats and food and have lots of pumpkin ale on hand.. should be fun! havent thrown a halloween party since I was a kid lol!

    any advice is much appreciated!

    thanks
I met this six-year-old child, with this blank, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the devil's eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil

I did one last year which was a lot of fun. I did mine in our backyard and just set up a bunch of tables. I'd say for you if you don't have a backyard to use, then you might want to have everyone carve their pumpkins on tile or hardwood floor if you have it. If not I would put down a ton of news papers to keep all the guts and seeds off your carpet. You could even get those cheap plastic table clothes from the dollar store and put those down. (Halloween themed of course) Have a garbage can or large bowls nearby for everyone to put the guts in. Hope this helps.
