Thread: Monster Cereals?

I was wondering if anyone has seen them in stores this year...

I saw them at my local Walgreens last weekend. They only had Count Chocula and Frankenberry but were fully stocked. I went back 2 days ago and they were completely sold out of Frank and Count but had 2 boxes of Boo Berry. Very odd to find them at Walgreens. I usually find them at Wal-Mart but, for whatever reason, they were here just as fast as they were gone.

I saw them at Walgreens also! I only saw Boo Berry but they may have had the others as well. I was in a hurry and didn't really slow down to look.

You'd think they'd bring back Fruit Brute and Yummy Mummy for the season. *grumble*

At least they're not as bad as the Creature With The Black Macaroons!

I'd love to see the resurrection of Frute Brute and Yummy Mummy! Would be smart of General Mills..

From what I've heard, these cereals Do Not fall under the New tax credit policy. So the mfg of Count Chocula, fruit berry's, etc.. folded and are no longer going to produce these cereals. Basically, because of the sugar content doesn't meet the new tax credit for healthy eating. Like it or not, thats what it looks like happened.

Well, I wouldn't be surprised. Yesterday I went to four different places and none of them even had a tag for the cereals. All that's left would be Walmart...

If people saw them recently, there still might be hope to stock up...

I bought one of each at Walgreens on Wednesday. They were $3 each here in Georgia.

Our store was supposed to receive them in along with the Pop Tarts (pumpkin) and nothing has shown up. Talked with our sales rep to see what was going on and all we got was "theres been a delay". Not one store in our area has these yet.

Last year I saw Frankenberry, Booberry, and Count Chocula at a Super Target. I hope they have them again this year!
