Just a Heads Up if not already posted. Deadliest Warrior show having Vampires vs Zombies. Not sure the date. I'll check. I would say Vampire, thier not mindless & would know to take the zombies head off, but zombies work in numbers.

OH NICE!!! I LOVE THAT SHOW!!! They've been taking in a whole lot of X factors this season. Since they're using new software to simulate battles. I think they run the battle 1000 times, so it'll be hard to say which one will win. If they use the old school zombies, they'll lose. However, if its the more current zombies climbing on walls and stuff like that. Vampires got NO CHANCE. Guess we'll see.

heh. I still like the old "fast zombie" vs "slow zombie" debate. I'll watch the Deadliest Warrior to see what they do with it- should be fun as heck! I am team vampire btw. Never got into zombies that much.

Can't wait to see that episode, same with he kids they will love it! Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for the info...I'll be watching it also! On True Blood they said "Zombies are the new Vampires". So maybe zombies will be gaining in popularity....just as long as they don't start to sparkle!LOL!

Zombies are hugely increasing in popularity. Look at the media the past 5-6 years. Games like Left 4 Dead (L4D2), Deadrising (Deadrising 2), the new game coming out, "Dead Island", an expansion "The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned", etc. Then movies like "Zombieland" (that's all I got).

Amen to the not sparkling part.

The only way I see the zombies having a chance is if they assume that half the fights will take place in daylight. Which seems improbable, since vampires can hole up for the day in even more zombie-proof hideaways than humans can.
Speaking of humans, anyone who actually fights a zombie tends to kill it. Vampires are tougher than humans, so I see no reason that a vampire would be unable to smack out a zombie's brains. Or, for that matter, use a chainsaw or shotgun. Zombies have limitations on what weapons they can use. Vampires really don't.
Come on, almost every zombie movie ever made features at least one zombie getting killed by a bat to the head. Well, guess what vampires can turn INTO?
