Yesterday I decided to make a trip to halloween express here in illinois and I must say the store was really cool. The employees were friendly and didnt bother you and they were wearing costumes and makeup. They had halloween scenes set up showing the props in action and creepy music playing thru the store speakers. The prices on the merchandise was good too. Halloween express did a top notch job getting me in the halloween mood. I also went to a store called johnny brocks dungeon. It had 1950's music playing, all the bright lights on and didnt have props or scenes set up, it sucked. Good job HALLOWEEN EXPRESS!

Our HE opened today and we stopped in. Still setting up. A lot of the same stuf as last year but they have a line of new masks with hinged jaws that are pretty nice and made in America no less. They had the rocking granny and grandpa, pinhead, and a couple other animated props. Lots of costume and accessories, as always. They had these latex or vinyl boa constrictors that looked neat but went to pick one up and there was actually a sticky feel to it and it had this strange odor, not like latex or vinyl I've seen before. I know two of the staff there from years back and they said they'r getting a lot more stuff in so I'll be checking back. Prices on the stuff we looked at seemed average. They did have a lot of stuff from last year though.
