Hi,

Halloween is season is here.

Halloween 2011 is going to be AWESOME.

Halloween Forum has a lot of new visitors and members that have found us within the past few months. It is time again to both thank our great members and moderators as well as help introduce the forum to our new community members. Our members are so amazing!

For those who have no idea who I am:
My Name is Larry. I am the guy who created Halloween Forum. I work with some amazing moderators to help manage our community. Our moderators (in alphebetical order) DeadTed, Frankie's Girl, Halloweiner, jdubbya, Terra, UnOrthodOx and Ween12amEternal are amazing. They work countless hours to help keep spam and other negative issues out of the community. They really work hard and I personally could not applaud them enough. (I hope that I am not leaving out anyone). With all of our hard work, this would be nothing without great members like YOU!

We launched the forum back in 2002. When we launched, there really was not a lot of places on the Internet for us Halloween fanatics to hang out all year.

Things have gotten better each year. There are members on every level. We have novice members that are just decorating for the first time, to home haunters building movie quality props. We also have many pro haunters, authors and the best of the best as well. My jaw drops to see all of the amazing projects.

As I have said many times; It is our members that collectively make this an amazing community. It is the contributions that each member posts that makes the community an amazing resource. I will always work to make this a better community for YOU! I like to think of our community as a large family. I do expect respect to our members.

Philosophy:
Spammers and trolls (those who purposely try to cause problems) do not like it here. That is because the moderators and I really attempt to keep a family friendly atmosphere with as little problems and drama as possible. I wish that we could go without rules, however we all know that without our simple rules, the forum would be full of spam, content would be hard to find because of big flashy signatures, and people would be have flame wars (insult each other).

We are blessed to have excellent sponsors of the forum. The advertisements that you see on this site help make it possible. Make sure to consider our sponsors for your Halloween needs.

I do my best. If ever you need anything, please feel free to ask me, or one of our moderators. If you have a problem or issue, let me know. I cannot fix something that I am not aware is an issue. We want you here. We want you to feel comfortable and come back often.

If you have a problem, we are happy to help you out. If you become a problem, we will be happy to help you OUT. Luckily, we have very few troublemakers.

I want to make sure that all members feel comfortable here. I want you to have fun. I want you to share your passion for Halloween.

Upgrades: We recently made a lot of upgrades and changes on the sites. Most things are even much better than they were. There are a few things that we are fine-tuning as well a couple of glitches that we are working on. We also now have our own Android App and IPhone app. More to come. Thanks for your patience and support!

This is one of the few forums I belong to where the same question can be asked a billion times & it will get answered, no snark, no rudeness, it just gets answered. Sometimes with a link to another thread, a site, whatever you need.

Most forums will give you crap about questions that have been asked over & over & over again, but that's never happened here & it makes me happy that we're a patient lot.
