Was in Walmart today and took the time to go back into the seasonal part of the store and was happy to see they had 3-4 BLUCKY'S for sale there. I think they were $14.86 a piece. But hey, if I had the money I'd buy em all. I'm trying to figure out how to scrape up the cash to get just one! I also saw we're getting a Spirit Halloween store here as well. At least temporarily.

HOORAY!!! Was your walmart fully stocked or just starting to stock?
I gotta check out mine soon. Everything in walmart seasonal tends to just disappear without hesitation.
Thanks for the post!!

I've been to Walmart and Target and had to ask associates when they would be putting out their Halloween merchandise. The walmart by us is supposed to have some things in this weekend, and I have to call the Target to find out when they'll have everything in. (We stock our kitchen cabinets with their halloween dishes and use them all year
)
I would love to get a Blucky.

Thanks for the pic. I haven't been in to my small Walmart yet. Nothing last time I was in.
Those bluckies look pretty yellow, more fresh bone color, and a dollar less than the BigLots version that are white-er and maybe GID?
BTW did you notice the price on those little skellies hanging on the left side? Last year they were $10 and I could use a few more.

I would say partially stocked. However, Walmart's around here haven't been known to carry a whole lot of stuff. But it's local, and it's Walmart, so prices are decent. I'm surprised they had Blucky's this year. Seems to me last year they didn't. Or I heard they wouldn't be carrying them. Honestly, if I knew I wouldn't get flak for it I woulda bought all 4 of them right there. They also had zombie babies if your into that stuff. No timer for my fogger I bought there last year though >_<

What's a blucky? We need a glossary for those noobs like me. I don't know what a bucky is either. Cool tho.

It's a blow molded skeleton. (see picture). They're hollow plastic skeletons. And it seems that the ones picture above are THE only blucky's around. Any I've seen have the same skull, hands and feet.
I'm sure the term comes from bucky. Which is, as far as I know, like the skeletons they use in science rooms and such. The L is thrown in there for BLow molded bUCKY. I hope that helps. I do like the idea of a glossary.."Well it's a shouting match you want, eh? Well game on, AAAH, AAAH, AAH, AH, AH, AH, AA-I'M BEATING YOU!"

I suggest to anyone who finds the "Rising & Talking Zombie" to not waste their money. Such a waste of mine. They were small, cheesy, mouth does not move, is not motion activated, so fake looking.
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind
