So I have been doing my haunt for my work the past couple years for a Halloween event which has been pretty successful for us. This year I've been beefing up my collection and had some pretty sweet plans drawn up. I just found out today that the event has been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts with other departments...so, I need to think up a new way to utilize my stuff this year. Otherwise, I'll have 10 large tubs of props, lights and decor (plus the larger props, tombstones and furniture that have their own boxes) just sitting around unused, which I'm sure you'll all agree is a shame.

I used to do a haunt in my garage back in the day. It was super primitive but it sowed the seeds of what I've got today. I wouldn't do that nowadays because we have had two-three groups of ToTs the past four or five years.

So anyway, I am going to be devising something to do this year. Any ideas?

Yep...set up your garage haunt and have fun with it.....so what if you only get a handful of ToTers

I know I get nowhere near the amount of ToTers at my house to justify the time and expense, but I have fun with it and that's all that matters

Yeah, I'm going back and forth between both ideas (garage haunt or party). In the meantime I've realized that I can get some scarier props, so I went by Halloween City on the way home and got a hanging spiderweb tree man, which I've always wanted but was afraid to get. I hooked him up to one of those shaking motor boxes so he can wiggle around like he's trying to get out.

    Thanks for the suggestions, guys!
