Hello all
Havent been on here the past couple of years like I used to be, circumstances due to family illnesses and passings as well as an entire year and a half spent cleaning out my in-laws 40 some years worth of hoarding. Hubby has two sisters but they decided to leave it all to us.
There was so little time I didnt know if we would even be able to set up our yard display last year.
That is all in the past now........
This year we can enjoy our Halloween again, I want to add a couple of props as it's been awhile. I was set to order the Venetian Victoria from GR as well as Vincent Vampire, hubby says they make a beautiful couple.
I read the 21 page thread on Victoria's nose issue and she has a ship date of Oct.17 (!)
How about Vincent? He looks pretty good but I see no reviews, anyone here order him? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions. With the free ship offer right now I want to get something, I'm simply dying for some new decor
Just want to get some advice from you fine folks, I know I've been absent but I havent forgotten how much I used to enjoy HF.
Thanks!
PS How about the life sized Wicked witch with the red apple (item # 45516)? I like the 75" size and quality looks pretty good. I dont necessarily want a prop that's animated anymore, static is fine by me.
Just wondering if any of you bought these props as Vincent,Victoria and that Life-size Wicked Witch are currently sitting in my shopping cart with a 20% off promo code applied and my purchase finger is gettin' twitchy![]()

I was thinking of buying it too. I heard of all the problems with Victoria & Helga on the forum. I know one review on the witch with the apple said the sensor for her to sound didn't work. I like Vincent because I plan to put him on our covered porch and won't get so dirty/mildew. His black cape will disguise that.Victoria & Helga have such light colored clothing it will be full of dirt/fungus after a week or 2 in FL.

I'm not bothered by the sound problems, to be honest I'm tired of those animated props. What the manufacturers need to do is make props that will cycle on & off, as in perhaps do their little routine, cycle off for a few minutes then start up again and forget the motion aspect.
Lucky you with the covered porch, Im so envious
, nothing at our house is covered however I carry my latex props in each night, we lock them in the shed.
I dont want to risk them getting stolen, we've had no problems over the years but things do change.
I was going to keep Vincent and Victoria in the living room in front of the windows and the witch, well if the weather is good Halloween night we would set her up for a few hours in the cemetery.
Otherwise I wouldnt display these outdoors, not without a covered porch (oooo Im sooooo jealous
)
